Plains Camp is a luxury tented camp, overlooking the Timbitene plain and waterhole. The camp is built in the pioneer tradition style on wooden decks. Luxuriously decorated, the camp offers the peace and quiet of a 19th century retreat. The camp only has 8 beds. No concrete was used in the building of the camp, only canvas and wood. It was specially designed for low energy consumption, as a green camp, making use of natural sources for power and water. The plains camp is near Skhukuza and provides great Rhino walking safaris!
